Travel to Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province

Built to commemorate the surrender ceremony of the Chinese theater held here on August 21, 1945, it is one of the six triumphal arches in the world. The memorial hall displays a large number of precious historical relics, photos and documents, comprehensively showing the arduous course and final victory of the Chinese people's Anti-Japanese War. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit and a national patriotic education demonstration base.

A Dong ethnic wind and rain bridge built in the Ming Dynasty, with a total length of 246.7 meters, it is the longest wind and rain bridge in the world. The bridge body is purely wooden structure, without a single nail or rivet, connected entirely by mortise and tenon. The bridge has bridge corridors and bridge pavilions with exquisite carved beams and painted buildings, which is an outstanding representative of Dong ethnic architectural art, reflecting the wisdom and creativity of the Dong people.

A famous Allied air force base during World War II, once stationed with the Flying Tigers led by General Chennault. The airport played an important role during the Anti-Japanese War and made a significant contribution to the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. Some historical buildings and facilities are preserved, and an Aviation Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall is built to show the history of the Chinese and American air forces fighting side by side.

The largest existing Mazu Temple in Hunan Province, built in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, covering an area of 3700 square meters. The buildings in the palace are exquisite with gorgeous carvings, integrating Dong ethnic architectural characteristics and southern Fujian architectural styles. It is an important relic of Mazu culture in inland areas, witnessing the cultural exchanges between the Yuanshui River Basin and coastal areas in history.

A theme park focusing on displaying the Dong ethnic culture of Zhijiang, with Dong ethnic drum towers, Dong dwellings, cultural exhibition halls and other buildings in the park. You can watch performances of intangible cultural heritage such as Dong Grand Song, Dong Opera and Lusheng Dance, experience traditional handicrafts such as Dong embroidery and silver ornament making, and taste Dong ethnic characteristic food.
