A historic famous tower built to commemorate Wang Changling, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, and is famous worldwide for his poem "Sending Xin Jian from Furong Tower". The tower stands by the river with exquisite architecture. Climbing the tower, you can overlook the spectacular confluence of the Yuan River and Wu River. The park has numerous stone inscriptions and profound cultural heritage, known as "the first scenic spot in the upper reaches of southern Chu", and is one of the three famous towers in the south of the Yangtze River.

One of the best-preserved ancient cities of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China, with a history of more than 2200 years. The street pattern in the ancient city is complete, and a large number of ancient dwellings, ancestral halls, temples and other ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties are preserved. Historical relics such as the ancient city wall, Bell and Drum Tower, Confucian Temple, and Wanshou Palace are well-preserved, known as "the first ancient city in western Hunan".

A national forest park, with the main peak Subaoding at an altitude of 1934 meters, which is the watershed between the Yuan River and the Zi River. The forest coverage rate in the park is as high as 90%, known as a "natural oxygen bar". The scenic area integrates mountains, water, stones, forests and caves, with natural landscapes such as alpine lakes, waterfall groups, and primitive secondary forests. It is an ideal place for summer vacation, leisure, mountaineering and exploration.

A national wetland park with Qingjiang Lake as the core, covering a water area of 20 square kilometers. The lake surface is wide, the water quality is clear, surrounded by mountains on all sides, and the scenery is beautiful. The park is rich in biodiversity and is an important habitat for migratory birds, with facilities such as bird watching platforms, waterfront platforms, and lake-side greenways.

The place where Academician Yuan Longping once worked and lived, and also the birthplace of hybrid rice. The memorial park preserves the former office, laboratory, dormitory and other sites of Academician Yuan Longping, showing the arduous course and great achievements of hybrid rice research. It is an important agricultural science and technology education base and patriotic education base.
