The monastery is built against the mountain, divided into upper and lower courtyards. The Mahavira Hall in the upper courtyard contains over 1,000 Ming Dynasty suspended painted sculptures, exquisitely shaped and brilliantly colored. Among them, the panoramic 'Western Pure Land' suspended sculpture is hailed as 'the ultimate masterpiece of Chinese suspended sculpture art', possessing extremely high artistic value.
Xi County Drum Tower
Landmark building of Xi County's ancient city, first built in the 45th year of Ming Wanli (1617), rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. It is a cross-shaped hip-and-gable roof multi-story structure, 23 meters high with three floors. The four sides of the drum tower bear plaques reading 'East Embraces the Yellow River', 'West Borders Pu County', 'South Connects to Longmen', and 'North Faces Jinyang'. Climbing the tower offers a panoramic view of Xi County's old town, serving as an important material object for studying the planning of ancient cities in western Shanxi.
Jinxi Revolutionary Memorial Hall
