Dong Township Rongjiang · Landscape Painting

One of the largest Dong ethnic settlements in China, composed of Chezhai, Zhaitou and Meizhai villages, known as the "Thousand-household Dong Village". The cluster of drum towers in the village is large-scale, and the Dong Grand Chorus is well inherited, making it the first choice to experience Dong culture.

Known as the "Dong Architectural Museum", it completely preserves the architectural complex of Dong quadrangles, drum towers, flower bridges and other structures from the Ming and Qing dynasties. Stone slab roads crisscross the village, and ancient wells with clear springs are scattered throughout the village, perfectly integrating cultural landscapes with natural ecology.

A special venue systematically displaying Rongjiang's Dong culture, comprehensively presenting the Dong ethnic group's historical evolution, living customs, song and dance art, and handicraft inheritance through physical exhibits, scene restoration and multimedia technology.

A historical witness to the 7th Red Army's capture of Rongjiang in 1930. The hall displays precious revolutionary cultural relics and historical photos, detailing the Red Army's battle history in Rongjiang and the profound friendship between the army and the people, serving as a provincial-level patriotic education base.

A arcade-style ancient street built in the Ming and Qing dynasties, with bluestone slab roads running through east and west, shops lining both sides, and a wide variety of Miao and Dong characteristic commodities. You can experience traditional handicrafts such as glutinous rice cake pounding and Dong cloth making.

A traditional village with well-preserved Miao culture. The stilted buildings in the village are built along the mountain, and the Miao embroidery and silver jewelry making skills are exquisite. Grand activities such as reed pipe dancing and bullfighting are held during the Miao New Year Festival every year.
