A traditional Hakka famous dish, made by stuffing bitter melon, eggplant and green pepper with meat filling and steaming. It has a reasonable mix of meat and vegetables and rich taste, reflecting the wisdom and frugality of Hakka diet.
Luofu Mountain Earth Kiln Chicken
Selected local free-range chickens, marinated and wrapped in lotus leaves, then baked in a specially made kiln. The chicken is tender and juicy, with the fragrance of lotus leaves and soil, unique in flavor.
Mapo Meatballs
A special food in Mapo Town, Boluo, made by hand beating fresh pork. It is chewy and juicy, can be boiled in soup or fried. It is a necessary food for local festivals, with a history of 100 years.
