Huangshantou National Forest Park
A boundary mountain between Hunan and Hubei provinces, with a main peak of 268 meters above sea level, named for its yellow rocks. The park covers an area of 30 square kilometers with a forest coverage rate of over 90%, known as "the first mountain in northern Hunan". Major attractions include Xie Gong Tomb, Zhongji Temple, Rhinoceros Watching the Moon, etc. Climb to the top to overlook the scenery of both Hunan and Hubei provinces at the same time.
Shanpo Lake
The largest natural lake in Anxiang County, covering an area of 65 square kilometers, belonging to the Dongting Lake water system. The lake is rich in aquatic products, abundant in fish, shrimps, crabs and soft-shelled turtles, with reeds growing densely around it, making it an important habitat for migratory birds.
